Real-time collaborative coding

Source Meet supports the collaboration of software developers in project teams using Source Meeting. The basis of the collaboration is provided by the familiar Visual Studio™ Editor, by means of which spatially separated documents may be viewed and worked on together. As not just the document contents but also the Visual Studio™ Editor properties such as highlighting or positioning are synchronized in real time, you get the feeling of sitting together in front of one monitor.
  • Synchronization of all editing commands such as Copy/Paste, Undo/Redo
  • Synchronous scrolling
  • Highlighting of source code
  • Real-time source code synchronization
  • Edits highlighted in contributer's color
  • Save and Merge
  • Several participants per Source Meeting possible

Real-time communication

A combination of familiar communication channels with the work environment and active contents (e.g. source texts) actively supports communication between the software developers within one project team. The entire communication process is secured by the integrated transport encryption of all messages.
  • Immediate text messaging to one or more project group members
  • Text chat within Source Meeting with one or more participants

Virtual project team grouping and collaboration

Source Meet supports the simultaneous administration of several project groups. This makes it possible, for example, to bring different groups to one project, while maintaining a visible and logical separation between them. Earmarking solutions to project groups makes it possible to establish a connection automatically to the corresponding project group on opening a solution and close it again when the solution is closed.
  • Administration of several project groups
  • Creation of your own project groups including direct invitation of new members by e-mail or invitation file
  • Join existing project groups with the aid of invitation files
  • More than one project group logged on at one time
  • Context-related earmarking of project groups
  • See only contacts from logged-on project group(s) with respective status and contact possibilities
